Milan Vohra

Milan Vohra juggles writing fiction and advertising campaigns as well as nurturing ‘Book Masala’, an 11-year-old book club she founded with friends. Her first book, The Love Asana made her India’s first Mills & Boon author. Other books include Tick-tock we’re 30, acquired for screen adaptation, Our Song, Head over heels, Mates, Dates & Double Takes, Maid in India, a musical comedy. Her short stories are in anthologies by Penguin and Harper Collins. Milan has written op-eds and fiction for Huffington Post, The Hindu, and Vogue. She is a TEDx speaker and award-winning advertising creative professional. Currently she works as Head of Creative, Global marketing at Viatris. Milan has trained in playwriting with Mahesh Dattani, and screenplay writing with Anurag Kashyap. Milan considers her book club ‘Book Masala’ the most special of her book babies; a baby that has grown and matured into something with its own strong identity and is a beautiful representation of democracy that thrives in a little hamlet of India.
