Archana Hande

Artist

Archana Hande holds a B.F.A and M.F.A in printmaking from Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, and M.S University, Baroda. Her artwork and creative practice span diverse modes, venues, and themes. As an artist, curator, and organizer, Hande's creative journey has been multifaceted. She was awarded the Charles Wallace India Trust Arts Award in 2000 and a Research Residency by Pro Helvetia, Switzerland in 2010. Notable solo exhibitions include 'I am a Landscape Painter' in Bombay and 'www.arrangeurownmarriage.com' showcased internationally. Hande's work has been prominently featured in major group shows such as the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Sharjah Biennial, and Seoul Mediacity Biennale
