Harsh Snehanshu is a writer and a serial entrepreneur based in Bengaluru. He is the co-founder and CEO of ‘Bookmark’, a dating app for readers, and ‘YourQuote’, a social writing app. In January 2023, along with Shruti Sah, he co-founded Cubbon Reads, a silent reading community which meets every Saturday in Cubbon Park to simply sit spread out and read together in silence. The community has spawned a global reading movement with chapters in 70+ cities worldwide and mushroomed into subcommunities such as Cubbon Paints, Cubbon Knits, Cubbon Folds (for origami) and Cubbon Writes. Harsh's writings on urban affairs have been published in The Caravan, The Hindu, Tehelka among others, and his fiction has been published by Penguin Random House, Out of Print, Chicken Soup series among others. Along with Shruti, Harsh is working on a narrative nonfiction titled The Reading Project right now, documenting the reading cultures across 15 cities in India.
