The film is an observation about the safety devices that permeate the Brazilian urban environment. Walls, fences, grid and cameras expose the segregating architecture in which we live. A sense of security permeated by a nervous smile.
Filmed in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, these images represent a sample of the landscape of the middle and upper class districts of the great Brazilian cities.
Ricardo Roqueto is a filmmaker and musician. He is a founding member of the experimental group Vida Seca with which he collaborated on several soundtracks. He started his audiovisual work as a member of the Indymedia project in Goiânia. In 2006 he performed the medium length Fighters. In 2015 directed the short Interior, and in 2016 the short films God gave me (awarded in the Festival of the Minute) and Mechanics. He is collaborator of Fronteira – International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival and works as a cultural producer at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás.
