Hailing from the same land as Kuvempu, H S Satyanarayana is a Kannada lecturer and new age critique of Kannada literature. He has recently authored the book ‘Tejaswi, kelavu prasangagalu’ (Tejaswi, a few anecdotes)

ಮೂಲತಃ ಮಳೆನಾಡಿನವರಾಗಿರುವ ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣರವರು, ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ವಿಮರ್ಶಕರು. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ‘ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಸಂಗಗಳು’ ಎಂಬ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
